Resurgence 5 Scooter Rally, October 17-20, 2013, Atlanta, GA USA

In 2009 a handful of scooter clubs and scooterists in the little town of Atlanta, Georgia banded together and held the first Resurgence Scooter Rally. Now, five years in, it’s still going strong—and this year we’ve got two special surprises for y’all. First, we’re raffling off another sharp looking Lambretta. Second, Resurgence Five is proud to host the 2013 CORSA: IFP! For those of you that aren’t familiar with CORSA: IFP, it’s a two-day vintage scooter race only for riders with the biggest bladders and the hardest bottoms. That’s right folks, this race is all about endurance (and being able to read a map). If you’re interested in learning more about the race, or participating, check back regularly. We’ll add updates as soon as we get them in.

If CORSA: IFP makes you faint of heart, no worries. There’ll still be all sorts of activities and rides to join in on at Resurgence Five. Registration for Resurgence Five is $20, which gets you access to all the events and a rally bag with all sorts of goodies, a patch, AND a T-SHIRT. Registration cost for CORSA: IFP is TBD.

Rally Schedule:

Wednesday October 16
7:30 pm: Regular weekly meet-up at the Midway Pub. www.themidwaypub.com

Thursday October 17
Morning: 7:30 AM. CORSA IFP riders begin their journey. Location TBD.

Evening: 7:30 PM. Meet-up and dinner at The Drafting Table www.thedraftingtable.net. Cafe ride to Trader Vic’s. www.tradervicsatl.com

Friday October 18
Afternoon: 1:30 PM Photo-scavenger hunt leaving from ParkGrounds Coffee.www.parkgrounds.com

Evening: 5pm – Photo-scavenger hunt ends, registration and meet-up at Argosy. www.argosy-east.com
Greet CORSA riders as they finish the race.

9:00 pm: Leave for evening ride. Chase truck and security provided my Motoretta.gomotoretta.com

Saturday October 19
Morning: Breakfast/registration at Krispy Kreme on Ponce de Leon.
Leave for day ride through historic Atlanta. Donuts, coffee and chase truck provided by Vespa Marietta. mariettasportscar.com/our-scooter-shop/
Ride ends at Dootique with refreshments and snacks.

Break for lunch.

Afternoon: Registrants can participate in the Little Five Points Halloween parade (line-up starts at 1:30 parade starts at 4:00) or head over to Elliott Street Deli and Pub, where there will be games, gymkhana, trophies and raffle.

Mark your calendars! Resurgence III Scooter Rally is October 13-16, 2011 in Atlanta, GA!

Registration is open!!! Please visit the Registration page to register, select your T-shirt size(s), and the number of patches you’d like (1 or 2) in your rally bag. The “Sale Price” reflects the price up until September 30, 2011. After September 30, 2011, all prices will revert to the normal price ($5 more), and you will not be guaranteed a T-shirt and/or patch. So please register early!

Ride your scooter with us in the East Atlanta STRUT Parade, Saturday, Septmber 17, 2011!
